“Our Origin and what makes us different”
Safe Sanctuary Living LTD, is owned by the Younas Family who have a very successful and reputable adult social care brand- National Care Consortium (NCC). Having done this type of support for a number of years, the business felt it necessary to branch out into providing care to those with a learning disability, Autism and other associated complex needs. Their aim is to provide an exceptional service to those who need it most and support each individual to live within their own homes in order to build on their independence and life skills.
As part of this exciting business venture, a new team of highly experienced individuals joined the organisation in August 2020 to kickstart the process, of registering supported living services with the Care Quality Commission, in order to deliver ‘personal care’.
Prior to this as part of the National Care Consortium brand, the Younas family acquired a 19-bed residential home, which caters for adults with a learning disability Autism and other associated complex needs. Having acquired this home from a well-known charity they have also received excellent feedback, one person said:

Meet The Team
Stella Kaphuka
Registered Manager
Stella is an experienced Registered Manager with over 20 years’ experience in Health and Social Care. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care and has a strong track record of working within the healthcare services sector.
Her expertise spans social services, home care management, data handling, decision-making, and project management, alongside a high level of proficiency in data analysis to inform service improvement and outcomes.
Stella brings a wealth of diverse experience, including home care, crisis intervention, supported living, and children’s residential services. She has developed extensive, hands-on knowledge in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism.
She is passionate about delivering person-centred, outcome-focused care and is committed to supporting her team to provide a high-quality service. Stella places a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, ensuring that the service evolves to meet the needs of the individuals it supports while maintaining high standards of care and governance.
Samuel Kimbley
Service Manager
Samuel joined the service in 2024, bringing with him a breadth of experience across residential care, Transforming Care services, and secure settings. He has developed strong, practical knowledge in supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs.
Samuel has worked with individuals who present with complex and challenging behaviours, including those requiring high levels of support and risk management. His hands-on approach, combined with a calm and consistent practice, enables him to support both individuals and staff teams effectively.
He brings a wealth of management experience to the service and is currently working towards a qualification in Leadership and Management, further strengthening his professional development and contribution to the organisation.
